Getting access

TimeBack access starts on the request page. Sign in with Google, choose a package, name the schools, and say why you need it. Campus reader and an automation key are approved right away when the roster already lists you. Otherwise someone reviews the request.

Request access

Open Request TimeBack access. Approvers use the approval queue.

The page offers these packages:

  • Campus reader. Approved right away if the roster already lists you as teacher, principal, administrator, or admission coordinator at every school you pick, or at a parent organization above it. Otherwise someone reviews it. Approval grants access at the schools you named. Connect Claude or ChatGPT on Reporting MCP.
  • Network reader. The same delivery, for exactly one organization. The platform team reviews every request.
  • Automation key. A read-only key for the schools you named. Approved right away under the same roster rule as campus reader. Otherwise the platform team reviews it. After approval, collect the secret once from the claim link on your request. Only your Google account can open that link, and the link expires after 7 days.
  • Write or family-contact access. A key that also includes consent read and write. The platform team reviews every request and records a reason. The same one-time claim applies.
  • Third-party app. This choice does not queue a request. Register the app through Level 0: Register Your App. A fresh key from that flow starts with limited read-only access. Reading a real school's data takes a platform team approval.

A request from an email that belongs to a roster student cannot be approved.

Work the request page does not cover

Promotion from draft to active, a lost client secret, an extra scope, sandbox fixtures, Caliper enablement, a rate-limit change, or app-scoped sandbox cleanup still goes to Alpha EDU Support. Include the details the originating guide already lists. Central support escalates that work to the platform team.
